The Sentenne and Green Sign Company was based in New York City and London, England, however, the company also had a large office in Boston, MA in the late 1800’s. Today modern antique advertising collectors have been able to locate a few early 1890s era metal or tin calendars from the company which were used as yearlong keepsakes to be hung in their customers offices. These clever calendars reminded the viewer of all of the products the company was able to make for them including iron, glass and paper signs and show cards. The reason or the year for the companies dissolution is unknown to me.
