The Union Leader Cut Plug brand was one of the best selling tobacco brands for many years in the late 1800’s and into the early 1900’s. This particular Red White and Blue Brand sign incorporates an image of Uncle Sam looking at his fleet of ships in the paper in his hands. This sign incorporates many bright colors and is striking to say the least. Some of the most commonly found items from the Union Leader brand are pocket tins and lunch pails with the red paint design and the eagle in the image.
