This is an extremely rare “Golden Dip” brand coffee tin from the Empire Coffee Company in St. Louis, MO, 1910. The Empire Coffee Company was only in business a few years in St. Louis. Empire competed against some well known companies such as the David G. Evans Coffee Co, the Jas. H. Forbes Coffee Co., The Steinwender-Stoffregen Coffee Co., the William Schotten Coffee Co., and others in the early 1900’s.
