Here’s a fabulous Rueter and Company Reverse on Glass sign, circa 1900 from the long defunct Boston, Massachusetts Brewery. The company was known for the ales and porter style beer. Later Rueter merged and formed a partnership with Ally, and was called the Rueter and All Brewing Company prior to prohibition starting.Details
Here is a great lighted sign from the Engelking brand which was made in Springfield, Illinois, both pre prohibition and post prohibition. This lighted sign is from the mid 1930’s I believe. This sign denotes the brand as “Famous for it’s Quality”. This brand was made by the Springfield Brewing Company, of which Conrad Reisch of the famous Reisch Brewing Family was involved. This is a very tough sign to find.
