This is a rare David G. Evans Coffee Company general store bin from St. Louis, MO, 1905. The bin features their Gold Star High Grade tea and had a glass window in the front of the bin so the product could be seen easier. Customers would simply scoop out the desired amount of bulk tea they wanted and would pay by the weight of the desired amount. The David G. Evans Coffee Company was a fixture for years in St. Louis and became famous nationwide with their Old Judge Coffee Brand. General store display bins are very desirable with antique advertising collectors today.
