One of my favorite serving pre-prohibition serving trays I have seen comes from the Americus Club Whiskey Brand.

The Henry Campe and Company Americus Club Pure Whiskey was a popular seller in the pre-pro era in San Francisco, CA.    The company was located at 221-223-225 Front Street at the time this tray was made, however, they were originally located at 53-61 Drumm Street in the early 1900’s before outgrowing that location.   This tray proudly proclaims on the bottles label the Americus Club brand was started in 1889.   Unfortunately the Henry Campe Company went out of business at the start of prohibition in 1920 like so many other liquor manufacturers, sadly eliminating the livelihood for many of the companies employees.   The good news is the Americus Club brand was manufactured for 31 years, allowing many collectors today to be able to still find various advertising items produced by the company while it was in existence.
