This is a rare Fruit Juice Tablets tin serving tray made by the Candy Bros. Manufacturing Company in St. Louis, MO and Columbus Ohio, 1902. The Candy Bros. Mfg. was a family confectioner company started in the 1870’s by brothers Robert, Thomas and Sydney Candy. They were known for their vitamin tablets, butter cups and cough drops. Their glass confectioner bottles with the company’s embossed name are also sought after by antique advertising collectors.

Circa 1920, the Uneeda Brand was imitated by many companies and the National Biscuit Company sued them and won all of the patent infringements. The Uneeda word was one of the most commonly used around 1900, and the product helped propel the company to the present day Nabisco Co we all know and love.
